​ADEA is the regulatory body for the Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE®) certification. CDEs are health professionals who have undertaken a rigorous credentialling program and have specialist knowledge in the field of diabetes education.

First Nations Scholarships
ADEA offers scholarships to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and healthcare professionals pursuing qualifications in diabetes education. These scholarships aim to address barriers to higher education and promote excellence in diabetes education within First Nations communities.
