Access trusted digital health resources through AHPA
As a member of Allied Health Professions Australia (AHPA), ADEA is pleased to connect members with the AHPA Digital Health Hub, which brings together trusted tools and information to support your digital health journey. The hub has been refreshed to support allied health professionals in understanding, accessing and adopting digital health tools, making it easier to navigate Australia’s evolving digital health landscape. The initiative was developed in partnership with the Australian Digital Health Agency and AHPA member associations.
The hub brings together practical resources to support allied health professionals, including:
-
Plain-language guidance on digital health tools and where to start
-
Information about systems such as My Health Record and Provider Connect Australia
-
Key topics such as healthcare identifiers, clinical systems and cyber security
-
Steps to help integrate digital health into everyday practice
-
Short, practical updates via the AHPA Digital Digest publication.
Why digital health matters for diabetes education and care
Digital health tools support more connected, efficient and informed care. They enable improved information sharing, strengthen collaboration across healthcare teams and support better clinical decision-making. ADEA encourages members to build confidence in using digital systems, adopt national digital health tools where appropriate and integrate them into everyday practice in a safe and secure way.
