Join us as a Diabetes Educator and help deliver person‑centred, culturally responsive diabetes support across our communities.

About the Role

As a key member of our Primary Health Team, you will:

  • Deliver high‑quality diabetes education to individuals, families, and groups

  • Provide outreach services to rural and remote communities

  • Build strong partnerships with GPs, Aboriginal Health Services and other stakeholders

  • Support clients through coordinated, multidisciplinary care

  • Mentor students and contribute to best-practice models

  • Use your expertise to improve accessibility and health outcomes for priority populations

What You’ll Bring

  • Tertiary qualification in Nursing, Dietetics, Podiatry, Pharmacy, or Exercise Physiology

  • AHPRA registration (or eligibility)

  • Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education (or willingness to obtain)

  • ADEA credentialling (or working towards it)

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across cultures

  • Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team

  • Excellent organisational and digital skills

  • Current Driver’s Licence


Desirable:Experience in rural health, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, telehealth, health promotion or research.
