We are looking for an energetic and experienced Trainer and Assessor – Diabetes to plan, deliver and evaluate diabetes specific clinical services and community education activities for Premium Health clients in NSW. As an integral part of the Premium Health team of trainers, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional health care training. The successful person will have the flexibility to take on casual work dependant on business demands.
As a casual Trainer and Assessor – Diabetes in Sydney, you can expect to:
Lead group training (via Zoom and face-to-face) sharing your skills and expertise
Work with clients across a diverse range of industries and sectors, from corporate to government to community
Enjoy being ‘on the go’ – travelling to different training locations and facilities within metropolitan suburbs and sometimes to regional/rural locations.
Undertake continued professional development through Premium Health and gain hands-on experience
Have access to innovative training equipment and facilities
Be part of a positive, supportive, and adaptable team

As an experienced and passionate trainer, you must:
Reside and hold full working rights in Australia
Be an RN or EEN
Be a credentialled Diabetes Educator with Australian Diabetes Educators Association or working towards
Be an experienced Trainer and Assessor or teacher/lecturer in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) or Higher Education sectors
Have a qualification in training, education or equivalent (eg. Cert IV TAE40122)
Be comfortable utilising technology
Hold a current drivers’ licence and have your own reliable, registered and insured vehicle
Be willing to travel around metropolitan suburbs and surrounding regional/rural areas
