Latest update to NDSS changes

ADEA has been providing updates to members about NDSS changes as we receive details from the Department of Health.  For the latest information on these changes, please click here

Although not included in the FAQs it has been confirmed by the Department of Health that from 1 July 2016 all medical practitioners, credentialled diabetes educators, and nurse practitioners will be able to register people for the NDSS, and also approve six month extensions of access to blood glucose test strips for people with type 2 diabetes who are not using insulin.
