Diabetes Victoria has recently opened a Diabetes Education clinic. Consultations can be held via telehealth and face to face. I have worked as a CDE with Diabetes Victoria for 15 years. I am an accredited DESMOND (Diabetes Education and Self-management for Ongoing and Newly Diagnosed) and Smarts facilitator-programs for people living with type 2 diabetes. I have worked as a Diabetes Educator at Peter Mac supporting those living with cancer and have pre-existing diabetes, I have a particular interest in steroid induced diabetes and helping people manage their blood glucose levels whilst having treatment. I am also in the process of becoming a DAFNE facilitator.
