Diabetes Education and Management qualifications gained overseas

All Diabetes Education and Management qualification gained overseas must be review and acceped by ADEA prior to being approved as part of a credentialling application. Overseas qualified diabetes educators should send an email to cde@adea.com.au seeking approval of their overseas qualifications.

Additional Case Study requirement if your diabetes education and management qualification were gain more than six years ago.

Diabetes Educators with Graduate Certificate dating beyond the 6 years must complete a Case Study as well as meeting all other criteria for achieving ADEA recognition as a CDE. The Marking Guide and the Template for your case study are provided for further guidance
