Pauline Hill

Pauline Hill is a senior lecturer with extensive experience in the higher education sector and a passion for diabetes education and all things involving learning.  Pauline has been involved in diabetes education for nurses since 1988 and has witnessed the evolution of diabetes education and management from an information role to a professional education role, critical for effective diabetes management.

Pauline has participated in and led team projects in diabetes distance education courses, an audio-conferencing series and online web based learning packages.

Pauline has been a member of the Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA) since 1989, on the national Curriculum Accreditation and Standards of Practice (CASP) committee from 2006, involved in the NHMRC Type 2 Diabetes Education Guidelines committee in 2000-02 and the Self-Monitoring Blood Glucose in Non-Insulin Treated Type 2 Diabetes Evidence Based Guidelines Reference Group in 2008.
