National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS)
The National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) is an initiative of the Australia Government administered by Diabetes Australia. The NDSS delivers diabetes-related products at subsidised prices and provides information and support services to people with diabetes. Registration is free and open to all Australians diagnosed with diabetes.
NDSS Online Services Directory
The NDSS Online ‘Find a CDE’ assists you to find Credentialled Diabetes Educators throughout Australia. Credentialled Diabetes Educators are authorised to register people with diabetes with the NDSS. Registering with the NDSS entitles you to subsidised NDSS products and information on diabetes. Search ability is within a 5 kilometre radius of your street address, by languages spoken by the diabetes educator and by area of expertise of the educator, for example paediatrics, insulin pump therapy. NDSS products can be purchased at your local pharmacy, health centre, hospital and State and Territory Diabetes Australia agents. You can also lodge your registration form and receive advice on diabetes. You can also call 1300 136 588 or fax your order to your Diabetes Australia Agent. Some state Agents have online ordering to make life just that little bit easier.
