Suspension of membership for up to 12 months

The Board has reviewed the membership policy and decided to allow a member, where they are absent from their employment because of parenting leave or unemployment (including full time study), to apply for a suspension of membership for up to 12 months.

The period of suspension will commence from the membership renewal date and no fees will be payable during the suspension period. The member will not receive the ADE publications during this period. The suspension of membership will also include suspension of CDE status for that period, ie. CDE authorities and benefits will be suspended for the duration of the suspension period.

Application for suspension is by emailing the attached form Application for Membership Suspension prior to the membership date to the Membership and Credentialling Officer at member@adea.com.au .

A membership renewal advice will be sent to the Member by the ADEA National Office at the end of the suspension period notified on this form. The payment of the normal annual renewal fee will renew the membership. No joining fee will be charged to a member renewing at the end of their membership suspension period.
