The Australian Diabetes Educator is the official quarterly publication of the ADEA providing members with updated information on the organisation, peer review articles and latest advances in the diabetes education field. The publication is available both in print and online for ADEA members.
All members also receive complimentary copies of the Diabetes Management Journal (a national publication on diabetes for general practitioners) and Endocrinology Today (a peer reviewed update for medical practitioners).
Learning and education is available free or at substantially discounted rates. A recent example is the Diabetes Matters CD, a health education audio series featuring interviews with top experts in diabetes management and care. Topics covered include: diagnosing and managing pre-diabetes; gestational diabetes; mental health; childhood and adolescents; and other popular topics in diabetes. ADEA members are also able to access ADEA E-learning courses.
