Membership benefits

ADEA individual members

ADEA has much to offer health professionals who are interested in diabetes care. If you are a diabetes educator, or have an interest in diabetes education, you can join the Association.

The ADEA Board and National Office is committed to developing further professional development opportunities, resources and products to support members in their diabetes education practice and to actively represent the interests of members to stakeholders. ADEA remains committed to efficient operations for and on behalf of members.

Student Membership

ADEA has recently introduced a new membership category for students. Student membership has the same benefits as ADEAs Associate Membership category at a special rate of $120 for 12 months. This special rate is a saving of $160. Students must currently be enrolled in a health-related degree. This is a great opportunity for students to experience the ADEA community and its benefits while working towards a career in the health sector.

A student membership is only valid for 12 months. Student members are unable to vote, hold office or apply for recognition as a Credentialled Diabetes Educator. Student members have the option to upgrade their membership after the 12 months has expired.

To apply for a student membership please fill in the Student Membership Application Form Student Membership Application Form and send to cde@adea.com.au

For further information regarding student membership please contact our National Office on 02 6287 4822
