As you are aware every October the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) Medical and Allied Health Fee Schedules are reviewed and updated in line with the Department of Health and Ageing Fee Schedules. As this time approaches DVA is continuing to review and enhance this process and your access to the new Fee Schedules.

 

DVA understands how busy our providers are in their day to day business and are working towards giving you an efficient and convenient channel that works with your business practices as a valued DVA provider. 

 

In 2010 the introduction of downloadable Fee Schedules was taken up with great enthusiasm by providers. This year we will again be providing this service from 1 November.

 

To download electronic copies follow these steps:  

 

  1. Go to www.dva.gov.au
  2. Follow the link on the DVA homepage - Medical and Allied Provider Fee Schedules.
  3. Click on the Dental and Allied Fee Schedules link
  4. Select the relevant Fee schedule
  5. Download and store on your computer

 

For those who are using Online Claiming the fees may be integrated into your practice management software automatically. Please contact your software vendor for more details.

 

Updates will be provided on the DVA website. To check for updates follow the above instructions to the Fee Schedules page of the DVA website or follow us on Twitter - http://twitter.com/#!/DVAAus 

Those providers or practice managers who require a hard copy Fee Schedule may order them via the normal ordering process either online or by fax or phone. Please note that delivery will be after 1 November.
