Scope of Practice for Insulin Initiation

Each State and Territory has legislation on the administration and supply of insulin under their respective and variously named poisons/controlled substances/medicines and therapeutic goods Acts.

ADEA expects all members to abide by the State or Territory legislation of the State or Territory in which they work. The relevant Acts are provided for each State and Territory by clicking on the appropriate link below:
